Billing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Billing Specialist to join our team in the Service industry based in Utah County. This role focuses on maintaining accurate billing records, generating work tickets, and addressing customer concerns.

Responsibilities:

• Establish new jobs in the system, ensuring all necessary details are accurately recorded
• Generate work tickets as required to facilitate efficient workflow
• Prepare monthly and project-specific billing, ensuring all charges are accurate and properly documented
• Improve and document processes, aiming for increased efficiency and accuracy in the billing function
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Utilize accounting software systems to manage billing processes and maintain records
• Handle accounting functions such as accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Respond to inbound customer calls and inquiries, providing accurate information and assistance
• Prepare journal entries as required, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded
• Manage computerized billing systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all billing activities.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Service industry
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with Computerized Billing
• Demonstrable familiarity with Accounting Functions
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to handle and respond to Inbound Calls effectively
• Experience in preparing and managing Journal Entries
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
