Key Responsibilities- Handle full-cycle accounts payable, including reviewing, coding, and processing invoices.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors by verifying documentation and approvals.
- Reconcile vendor accounts, research discrepancies, and resolve invoice/payment issues.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Prepare and distribute weekly or monthly AP reports for management review as required.
- Assist with month-end closing processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to address and resolve inquiries promptly.
- Monitor company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting regulations.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel is required.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interfacing with vendors and internal teams.
