Sr. Accountant

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the Manufacturing Industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing a range of accounting activities, including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger management.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the process of account reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to verify account balances
- Manage bank reconciliations to validate our financial records
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate representation of financial transactions
- Prepare journal entries for the proper allocation of revenue and expenses
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data
- Ensure timely completion of month-end close procedures
- Implement and manage financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline accounting processes.
- Proficiency in account reconciliation procedures and techniques.
- Demonstrated expertise in balance sheet reconciliation.
- Solid experience in conducting bank reconciliations.
- Familiarity with general ledger management and operations.
- Proficiency in creating and managing journal entries.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting.
- Experience in performing month-end close processes effectively and accurately.
- Working knowledge of NetSuite for accounting and financial management.
- Familiarity with Oracle for financial data management and operations.
- Experience in using SAP for accounting and financial management in a manufacturing industry.
- Proven ability to adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with team members and other stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a similar qualification.
- Minimum of five years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve department and company goals.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data and making informed decisions.
- Solid problem-solving skills to identify and resolve accounting issues promptly and effectively.
