P&C Underwriting Analyst

Responsibilities:

- Supports product development, maintenance, and performance to ensure profitable growth.
- Effectively utilizes business intelligence data systems, financial/statistical resources and analytical software applications in the creation, display, and reproduction of charts, graphs, and other visualization techniques to aid in product-specific decision-making.
- Leads research including identification of external trends, cost analysis, and/or statistical analysis on companywide business results to assist with the development and execution of product line vision and strategies.
- Supports the development and evolution of the product(s) across the product lifecycle from concept through sunset as appropriate.
- Assists in the creation of and maintains, updates, and directs underwriting philosophy and provides guidance on underwriting processes.
- Provides consultative guidance, expertise, strategic direction, and provides input to the organization on the assigned product.
- Acts as a liaison/coordinator across multiple business areas or contacts outside of State Farm.

Our Benefits:
Because work-life-balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week!- Potential starting salary range: $80,000.00 – 140,000.00
- Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
- High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
- Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
