Paid Social Media Assistant
Overview:
Note: This position is Hybrid to NYC Metropolitan area
This role will be hybrid, in NYC. The primary role of Paid Social Media Assistant is to assist the paid social media buyers in ad trafficking, campaign setup/monitoring, reporting and billing. Support of client communication related to campaign planning, execution, and analytics cross-platform.The Paid Social Media Assistant serves as an integral part of the in-platform operations team supporting key projects and campaigns on their assigned accounts. The ideal candidate has an ability to multi-task, passion for new technology as well as media channels, and eagerness to learn and grow within the digital media team at Involved Media.
Responsibilities:
- Supports digital team on all aspects of paid social campaign management and ad optimization.
- Builds personal/technical expertise to establish a comprehensive understanding of client’s marketing objectives and technology platforms.
- Stays informed of the latest buying platform developments and new ad opportunities.
- Supports media buyers in pre-campaign responsibilities, including:
o Providing guidance on creative development, specs and best practices.
o Identifies targeting and platform opportunities based on specific brand parameters and key performance indicators.
- Assists in campaign setup and launch.
o Ensure the creatives are approved before campaign launch date
- Assists in campaign management.
o Monitoring on target pacing
o Regular QA checks
- Coordinates campaign reporting:
o Providing ongoing campaign insights based on campaign analysis
o Participating in research compilation and findings
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.

The salary for this position is $43K - $50K. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
- 1-3years related work experience or internship is preferred, not required.
- Familiar with the following tools is a plus:
- Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
- Personal drive for excellence, knowledge, and new skills
- No regularly scheduled travel is required for this position.
