Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative for New Accounts. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for all new customers, providing the support needed to ensure a smooth account opening experience, as well as to address any customer inquiries or concerns.

Responsibilities:

• Greet new customers and assist them in opening new accounts.
• Provide detailed information on our bank’s products and services, tailored to the specific needs and interests of each customer.
• Process all the formalities related to creating new accounts.
• Guide customers throughout the account opening process, ensuring all documentation and procedural requirements are met.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and efficiently, either in person, on the phone, or through digital channels.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or personnel.
• Maintain knowledge of all legal requirements related to new account opening to ensure compliance.
• Work closely with other team members to achieve overall customer service goals and enhance the customer experience.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in banking, finance, or a related field is an advantage.
• Prior customer service experience, preferably in the financial sector.
• Knowledge of banking processes and regulations is an asset.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with banking software and common computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
• Ability to manage difficult customer situations and to respond promptly to customer needs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on providing top-notch customer service.
• Ability to work flexible hours and to function effectively as part of a team.
