Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 21 – 12 telemetry beds, 3 behavior health beds, 5 fast track rooms
- Patient Ratios: 1:5
- Equipment: Emergency Equipment
- EHR: Cerner
- Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: all ages
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Emergency nursing, trauma, resuscitation, IV, IV drips, oxygen demand support, blood products, basic telemetry/EKG,
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: Emergency Medicine
- Common Diagnosis/Treatment: COPD, DKA, Sepsis, Cardiac Emergencies, Neurological Emergencies, stroke
- Personality Fit: Fast paced/multi-tasker who embraces a dynamic environment, team player
- Required Education: ADN
