Senior Design Engineer

The Senior Design Engineer will report to the Director of Engineering and will work directly with the project managers.

Responsibilities:-Preliminary meetings with clients to gain an understanding of existing conditions, problems, and scope of work.-Ability and willingness to complete site visits to gain a complete understanding of existing conditions and space constraints.-Analyze operating data and complete predictive modeling and calculations as required to size pumps, blowers, and treatment processes.-Complete treatment plant hydraulic profile calculations.-Complete mass balance and process calculations.-Prepare planning and design reports for client and regulatory review.-Coordinate work with Geotechnical, Civil/Site, Structural, HVAC, Electrical, and Process Control disciplines.-Work with CAD staff to produce and manage drawing sets.-Prepare and submit permit applications.-Prepare contract specifications for public bid.-Work with the Project Manager to provide technical support during the project bid phase.-Work with the Project Manager and clients to provide technical support during construction phase including: submittal review, RFI review, field engineering as required to accommodate unforeseen conditions, and oversee process/equipment startup and testing.
