Systems Administrator - Robert Half

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Las Vegas, Nevada. The role involves managing and supporting various IT systems to ensure optimal performance and high availability. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering user access, managing IT Service Management (ITSM) practices, and troubleshooting complex system issues.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the high availability and optimal performance of multiple IT systems through diligent administration and support.
• Efficiently manage user access and device provisioning using Workspace ONE, prioritizing seamless onboarding and support for high-priority users.
• Administer and optimize Zscaler for secure internet access, complying with organizational security policies.
• Implement and maintain IT Service Management (ITSM) practices, managing tickets and incidents to enhance user experience.
• Conduct IT Asset Management (ITAM) to track and manage hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Collaborate with security teams to monitor and respond to security incidents, utilizing tools such as archiving solutions to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Resolve complex system issues, coordinating with vendors and other IT teams when necessary.
• Document system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and procedures to foster team knowledge sharing and streamline operations.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance evaluations to identify areas for enhancement and ensure compliance with best practices. • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role
• Proficient in Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, and Cloud Technologies
• Knowledgeable in Dell Technologies and Firewall Technologies
• Have experience with AB Testing and Active Directory
• Familiar with Backup Technologies and Cluster Analysis
• Proficient in handling Computer Hardware
• Understanding of IT service management and ServiceNow Application
• Experience in ServiceNow Implementation and ServiceNow Development
• Knowledge in Zscaler and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Familiarity with VMware and Azure Active Directory
• Proficiency in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and IAM provisioning
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
