We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Development Representative with experience in the travel technology industry. This role will focus on generating revenue by identifying and nurturing leads, converting prospects, reviving churned accounts, and closing sales through phone, email, and virtual meetings.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, adept at building relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored solutions that align with our company’s offerings.

Key Responsibilities for the Sales Development Representative:

  • Generate and convert leads to drive growth in the customer base.
  • Identify and proactively reach out to potential customers through cold calling, emails, and social media.
  • Explore new markets, increase lead conversions, and expand the customer base.
  • Analyze and address lost or churned accounts, identifying reasons behind churn and taking steps to resolve.
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and move them through the sales funnel.
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand client requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Present and demonstrate product solutions to prospective clients.
  • Build rapport with new and existing clients to close sales and address any client objections.
  • Train travel agents through calls, meetings, and webinars.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and post-sales support.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Use CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track and manage sales activities and leads.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Sales Manager.
  • Analyze sales metrics and client feedback to improve performance and processes.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with product launches and campaigns, motivating clients to engage and book.

Qualifications and Skills for the Sales Development Representative:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of Sales and Business Development experience, in the travel technology industry.
  • 3 years of experience with lead generation through cold calling, emails, and social media.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage changing targets.
  • Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Analytical skills to generate insights from sales data and performance metrics.

Pay Details: $48.00 per hour
