Registered Nurse (RN) - Hemodialysis

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
• Deliver excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation while serving a diverse patient population with complex concerns.
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year RN experience

• PA Registered Nurse License

Hemodialysis Overview:

• Our hemodialysis unit provides treatments for a variety of patient conditions requiring renal replacement therapy.
• We offer a cohesive team approach to patient care.
• Treatments are provided within the Hemodialysis Unit, and in the Intensive Care Units based upon patient location.
• You will find this nursing specialty to be both challenging and rewarding.
• The nursing staff participates in shared governance opportunities within the department.
