Role Overview
Meraki is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to drive our New Product Introduction (NPI) software programs and New Feature Introduction (NFI) programs. In this role, you will work closely with Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Support, Sales, Strategy, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to manage, facilitate, and deliver critical programs from concept to launch.
Our goal is to deliver high-quality products on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Lead software programs, projects, and releases for Meraki smart cameras and sensors.
- Build and drive program plans, managing dependencies and ensuring partner alignment.
- Understand product use cases and effectively communicate technical details with engineering teams.
- Implement and track program work, milestones, action items, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Provide project status reporting and deliver executive briefings to update senior leaders and team members.
- Adhere to Meraki’s governance and process metrics, providing input for process improvements.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration, developing strong relationships with teams to align business goals and priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience in software engineering and NFI.
- 4+ years of proven experience as an Engineering Program Manager or Technical Program Manager in software, embedded systems, or product delivery.
- Strong track record of delivering high-quality products from start to finish.
- Experience working across global teams, effectively managing programs across multiple time zones.
- Previous experience in small to medium-sized companies, particularly those experiencing growth in the software engineering organization.
- Strong understanding of hardware and software development, particularly in new product introduction.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in project planning tools (JIRA, Gantt charts, Wrike, MS Project, Confluence, Google Docs, SharePoint).
- Expertise in Agile Process Management, with the ability to adapt to rapid changes and navigate uncertain or ambiguous situations.
Pay Details: $68.00 per hour
