We are in search of a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Wilmington, North Carolina. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the logistics industry. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be required to utilize your skills in customer service, basic office equipment, Microsoft applications, and data entry to ensure smooth operations and superior customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Accurately process customer applications, ensuring all data entered is correct and up to date
  • Utilize basic office equipment and Microsoft applications to carry out daily tasks efficiently
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and any changes made to customer accounts
  • Proactively monitor customer accounts, identifying any issues and taking appropriate action to resolve them
  • Ensure all customer data is accurately entered into the computer system, and update records as necessary
  • Assist in training other team members, sharing knowledge and best practices in customer service and data entry
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and consistent customer experience
  • Continuously learn and adapt to changes in the logistics industry, applying new knowledge to improve processes and service delivery. • Proven experience in a similar role such as Customer Service Representative
  • Proficiency in using basic office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines
  • Strong knowledge and experience in basic office skills including filing, scheduling, and answering phones
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention
  • Proficiency in computer data entry with emphasis on accuracy and speed
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving skills to effectively address customer issues and concerns
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification required
  • Any additional certification in Customer Service or related field would be considered an advantage.
