Sr Mechanic

Responsibilities- Under general supervision, the mechanically savvy individual we seek will perform a variety of electrical, plumbing and carpentry work, handle general building issues and ensure all equipment runs properly and efficiently
- Completing work orders involving the replacement of electrical components, repairing plumbing fixtures, repairing/replacing ceiling tiles, repairing leaking roofs, general carpentry, and other related activities
- Building new storage space, office space, sidewalks, retaining walls, and hallways
- Inspecting rooftops, walls, walkways, light fixtures, windows, drains, etc, for preventive maintenance needs
- Troubleshooting and performing various electrical work
- Locating the cause of general building and process system malfunctions
- Handling various plumbing tasks involving a variety of materials (copper, PVC, brass and stainless materials)
- Evaluating refrigeration system performance and making necessary repairs
- Organizing work assignments and small projects where more than one mechanic is needed
- Monitor Building management System (BMS) and Isensix System
- Maintaining all records and logs
- Preparing various reports
- Handling other related functions as needed
- The mechanic will rotate with other mechanics and be “on call”
