The Position:

We are looking for a candidate who will be providing consulting and financial/accounting support to BSO-11 (Budget Submitting Office) Business Offices.

Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000 annually, based upon an individuals level of experience, skillset, and education. The range that is given is an estimate and may vary based on contractual constraints. At AM Pierce and Associates, it is our goal to provide equitable compensation to all employees.

The Work Environment:

Hybrid

Requires the employee to work on-site one day a week

at the government program office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for the majority of the workday. The other working days will be performed remotely. The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.

The Description:

The successful candidate will work with BSO-11 clients to:

  • Examine/develop processes to support the accounting department to include new processes of Navy ERP.
  • Participating in working groups related to G-Invoicing, Budget Execution Valuation, DARQ, and Tie-Points
  • Updating and maintaining standard operating procedures and policies
  • Performing data analysis related to funding, month end close, year-end close.
  • Perform compilation and review of field level journal vouchers.
  • Review and reconcile monthly treasury reports when compared to the general ledger.
  • Understand the behavior and functionality of various general ledger accounts.
  • Review and analyze trial balances for pre-close and post-close analysis.
  • Review and research unmatched transactions.

Education and Experience:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance, required.
  • Bachelors degree with three (3) years of experience.
