We are seeking a System Administrator to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a pivotal role in developing innovative and effective solutions for our DoD customers within the IC sector.

Role Overview:

The System Administrator will provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for identity management systems and authentication services. This role involves diagnosing and resolving user authentication anomalies, maintaining system integrity, and deploying critical infrastructure remotely.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, support enterprise-wide identity management operations, and mentor junior team members while ensuring compliance with security standards.

Primary Duties:

  • Remotely log into end-user endpoints (desktops and servers) to perform technical configurations, reboots, and remedial actions for troubleshooting authentication issues.
  • Provide support for implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining identity management systems.
  • Rapidly distinguish isolated user issues from enterprise-wide system problems and provide effective solutions.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to collect data, conduct analysis, and develop and implement solutions associated with incident tickets and requirements.
  • Build and deploy Domain Controllers and other identity management servers at customer sites using approved installation procedures.
  • Provide follow-up reports, including technical findings, feedback, and resolution steps, for root cause analysis and process improvement.
  • Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities.
  • Update operations and maintenance documentation for 24/7/365 enterprise watch personnel.
  • Support operations across multiple geographic locations and network classifications.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and vendor support to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Work independently as part of a virtual team to support mission-critical infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Experience with PowerShell commands, scripting, and automation.
  • Hands-on experience or functional knowledge of Identity Management technologies, including:
  • Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM)
  • Forefront Identity Manager (FIM)
  • Azure Active Directory Connect (AADC)
  • Active Directory Federation Service (ADFS)
  • ADFS Web Application Proxy (WAP)
  • Quest Active Roles Server (ARS)
  • LDAP Border Directory Systems
  • Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services
  • Radiant Logic VDS
  • OAUTH/SAML authentication frameworks
  • Secure Token Authentication Services and PKI integration
  • Experience with Quest ARS PowerShell extensions and implementing ARS task automation.
  • Experience in Tier 2/Tier 3 system administration.
  • Strong ability to interact with customers to troubleshoot incidents and resolve system anomalies.
  • Experience in troubleshooting issues in complex and growing environments.
  • Experience with log reviews, incident analysis, and identifying issue trends.
  • Knowledge of server patch management methodologies.
  • Experience mentoring and training junior personnel.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a virtual team and contribute to process improvements.
  • Experience working with support ticket management systems.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Additional experience or certifications related to Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Experience with cloud-based identity management solutions.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security best practices and IAM governance.
