A CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification is required to confirm your expertise in this domain. This role will involve both strategic planning and hands-on implementation to secure critical infrastructure and data while staying ahead of evolving cybersecurity threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Cybersecurity Solutions: Architect and implement security systems to protect enterprise networks and systems, specifically leveraging Meraki for cloud-managed network solutions and Palo Alto for next-generation firewalls and endpoint security.
• Framework Implementation: Develop and maintain compliance with security frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and Risk Management Framework (RMF), to ensure best practices in risk management and system integrity.
• Secure Network Architecture: Build secure network architectures, integrating cloud-based and physical network endpoints with a focus on scalability and resilience.
• Policy Development and Governance: Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and incident response plans compliant with international standards.
• Security Assessments: Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify risks and plan for mitigation strategies.
• Incident Response & Threat Management: Lead efforts to detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats and breaches in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT, development, and operations teams to implement security-by-design principles in applications and infrastructure.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Certifications: Must have a CISSP certification. Additional certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, Palo Alto Networks PCNSE, CISM) are a plus.
• Cybersecurity Frameworks: Advanced expertise in NIST CSF, NIST RMF, and other industry-leading frameworks.
• Technical Acumen: Strong hands-on experience designing, configuring, and managing Cisco Meraki systems and Palo Alto Networks products.
• Cloud Security: Knowledge of securing cloud-based infrastructure across environments like AWS or Azure.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-wide security implementations and mitigate risks in a high-stakes environment.
• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Industry Experience: Experience in industries such as technology, government, healthcare, or financial services is highly desirable.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
• Advanced degrees in relevant fields are a plus.
