We are seeking a Front Office Manager for a busy resort near Chetek, WI near Rice Lake area!
NOTE: Candidate must be willing to relocate or live in the immeidate area. Relocation housing assistance can be provided for a limited amount of time.
The Front Office Manager will be able to balance operational duties such as reservations and inventory while always keeping the professional and curated feel of the front of the house in mind.
As the face of the hotel, the front desk is first impression, and our ideal candidate will be a logistics mastermind who knows how to make a guest feel prioritized and courteously looked after.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Approach all encounters with guests and employees with warmth and in a service-oriented manner
- Stay visible and interface with customers on a regular basis
- Respond to all guest and departmental inquiries in a timely matter
- Post, manage and handling guest charges correctly
- Provide a warm, genuine and enthusiastic welcome to all guests
- Oversee tidiness of front desk, bell closet, office, retail shop and inventory
- Ensuring that all guests reviews are thoughtfully addressed in a timely manner to manage the online reputation of the hotel
- Coordinate with other departments to place special amenities for special attention guests
- Manage merchandise sales
- Inventory collateral, retail and front desk
- Handle special projects and other job duties as assigned
- Anticipate guest needs and embody the spirit of service that exceeds a specific role, going above and beyond for all guests and visitors of the hotel

- Can work well under stress or in high-pressure situations
- Is confident in utilizing and learning new technologies, and has solid POS experience
- Has a thorough understanding of Microsoft Excel, including utilizing it for scheduling and budgeting
- Enjoys and thrives in an environment where service, creativity, optimism and design are the cues for outstanding guest experiences
