We are in the market for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the education sector in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This role involves maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency in processing customer data and resolving inquiries, all within a physical workplace setting.

Responsibilities:- Review and process invoices in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Investigate and rectify discrepancies related to payments from purchase orders to invoices.
- Manage the processing and distribution of accounts payable checks.
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate files of accounts payable and vendor information.
- Handle the processing and distribution of EFT and ACH payments, and reconcile payable accounts.
- Verify and process third-party payments and reconcile payments in the purchasing card system.
- Respond promptly to vendor and staff queries regarding invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
- Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process while maintaining the integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
- Participate in cross-training and other detail oriented development activities.
