Overview:

Penske Motor Group has a high standard for its brands and the Marketing Department is looking for an ambassador to align and amplify Longo Toyota of Prosper branding in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan area. This includes increasing our presence on all platforms, especially social media.

This cutting-edge, social-savvy individual will assist in the implementation of the social media strategies, including content creation, analytics, and community engagement. Goals and priorities include connecting with audiences, creating social communities that will increase our reach and advocacy, and enhancing our brand image.

  • This position is 100% on site at Toyota of Prosper in Prosper , TX.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute a results-driven social media strategy.
  • Assist with the analysis and execution of Sales, Service and Parts/Accessories marketing initiatives.
  • Create relevant and enticing content for social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok at a minimum.
  • Stay current with social media industry trends, platform algorithms, audience preferences that drives content creation.
  • Develop and execute social media monthly calendar for dealerships.
  • Engage with guests on various platforms, identify and leverage advocates and ambassadors.
  • Review analytics and create reporting that tracks KPIs and trends.
  • Assist with influencer and partnership outreach.
  • Other duties that will increase brand presence and awareness.
  • Attend company community relations events to capture content for social media posting and advertising.
  • Assist community relations manager with event coordination.
  • Provide creative support with creating handout material, power point presentations, video content, etc. for onsite and offsite events.

Qualifications:

  • Must have an interest or passion for social media and auto industry.
  • Familiar with various social media platform and personally, an active user on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok at a minimum.
  • Ability to analyze social media data and metrics and develop actionable tactics/strategies.
  • Must be creative, detail-oriented and team-oriented and have strong communication skills.
  • Comfortable using MS Office suite and Google Docs.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Part- Time position with minimum of 24hrs commitment per week.
  • Must be available to work weekends as needed to attend community events.

Highly Desirable but Not Required:

  • Automotive knowledge/passion/enthusiast a plus.
  • Graphic design and video editing experience a plus.
  • Certification in Google Analytics.
  • General knowledge of SEO and Internet ranking for web content.
  • Background in marketing or public relations.
  • Bachelors degree in relevant field (Marketing, public relations, business Administration)

Experience:

  • Social media marketing: Min 1 year preferred
