Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Inventory Management: You will oversee the accurate receipt and storage of incoming shipments, ensuring that inventory records are meticulously maintained. Collaborating with Warehouse Specialists, you will implement effective inventory control measures and optimize warehouse layout for streamlined operations.
• Operational Excellence: Monitoring inventory levels and analyzing stock movement trends will be crucial to forecasting needs and minimizing waste. You will lead initiatives to enhance inventory turnover and streamline stock control procedures, thereby contributing to cost-effective operations.
• Team Leadership and Development: As a leader, you will mentor and empower your team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Through clear performance expectations, regular feedback, and ongoing training, you will ensure that our warehouse team operates at peak performance.
• Customer Service and Logistics: Coordinating closely with Warehouse Specialists, you will oversee the accurate fulfillment of orders and timely shipping to meet customer demands. Your focus on enhancing order fulfillment processes will contribute to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Upholding stringent quality standards for incoming and outgoing inventory, you will enforce compliance with safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
• Vendor Relations and Budget Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, you will negotiate terms and pricing to optimize costs. Managing the warehouse budget effectively, you will monitor expenses and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to report on operational performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, with expertise in inventory control practices and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration across departments and with external stakeholders.
• Physical fitness to perform tasks requiring lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols, including the ability to obtain necessary certifications.
