We are seeking a Principal Analytics Data Engineer to be an integral part of our growing team. This role will focus on designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that enables advanced analytics and enables insightful data-driven decisions.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities- Lead delivery of data systems, services, and pipelines to serve across product features and milestones
- Align with peers on AI, DevOps, Backend, and Frontend integration and standards
- Set the direction for the team on engineering architecture and best practices to align with industry standards
- Define minimum design, testing, and documentation criteria for engineering deliverables and provide reviews and feedback on engineering artifacts
- Lead the team in problem-solving sessions to design solutions, make implementation plans, and provide estimates
- Provide final recommendation on solutions aligned to business needs
- Evolve practice and recommend improvements as team and product scales
- Provide mentorship to junior members of the team
- Communicate risks and issues in time and propose mitigation options for product delivery
- BSc Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- 10+ years of industry experience in building data-intensive software and solutions
- 5+ years of experience with cloud data platforms (preferably with Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks, or Snowflake)
- 5+ years of Python programming experience and building scalable data services
- Proficient in modern software development lifecycle practices and CI/CD
- Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to effectively communicate complex technical details to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in mentoring engineers and fostering a collaborative culture with a focus on engineering excellence
