Entry Level Communications Coordinator - Downtown Atlanta (Onsite Contract)

We're seeking an enthusiastic and organized Entry Level Communications Coordinator to join our team in downtown Atlanta! In this onsite contract role, you'll play a vital role in supporting our communications efforts by crafting engaging content, managing social media channels, and assisting with various communication initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and edit press releases, website content, and other communication materials.
• Develop and maintain engaging content for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
• Assist with media outreach and manage media inquiries.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
• Provide administrative support to the communications team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining databases.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with social media management platforms a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
