Sr. Survey CAD Technician

Our Melville, NY office is looking for a Senior Survey Technician who embodies this purpose.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, Boundary & Topographic Surveys and As-built Surveys with minimal supervision
• Evaluate field work for accuracy and create surveys from field crew data collector files (points), field sketches, digital photographs and reference maps
• Generate surfaces using 3d polylines & points
• Coordinate project requirements with team members and provide technical oversight of junior staff when necessary to complete required tasks
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
• SIT or Level 3+ CST Certification preferred
• 3+ years of CAD experience; Civil 3D required
• Deed compilation experience required
• Excellent organizational and communications skills
• Ability to meet project deadlines within given budget limits and time frames
• Desire to succeed and excel in a fast-paced work environment
• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multi-task assigned projects, and work with minimal supervision
• Ability and focus on Quality Control/Quality Assurance

Salary $32- $42/hr. plus sign on bonus consideration. Total compensation will be determined by other considerations such as experience, qualifications and educational background. This position is eligible for potential annual bonus earnings.
