Marvin Love and Associates is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Vice President of Finance for a luxury boutique hotel in the Southeast USA. This key leadership position will oversee all financial operations and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of the hotel.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in hotel finance, aiming to maximize profitability while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the finance team to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Develop financial strategies aligned with the hotel's objectives, facilitating decisions that enhance revenue and reduce costs.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to inform executive management and ownership.
- Establish effective internal controls and financial reporting systems to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy.
- Engage with stakeholders, including investors and financial institutions, to maintain strong relationships and secure funding as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Must hold a CPA designation.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of finance experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on boutique hotels.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Requirements
Bachelors degree in finance or accounting required; MBA preferred. CPA designation required. 8-10 years of finance experience in the hotel industry, specifically boutique hotels. Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies that drive improvements.Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial modeling. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
