The Business Development Manager plays a vital role in supporting Avance Care’s market expansion by executing business development initiatives, driving prospect engagement, and building lasting partnerships.- This is a full-time role working 40-50 hours a week.
- The position works a hybrid schedule with at least 2-3 days a week in office.
- Ability to travel 30%-40% of the time throughout North Carolina and occasional weekends.

Selected Responsibilities:
- Industry-Specific Knowledge: Develop a complete understanding of the organization’s offerings and primary care provider landscape to identify and execute growth opportunities.
- Data-Driven Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, provider needs, and local healthcare landscape data to assist in targeting and prioritizing outreach
- Lead Qualification and Pipeline Building: Identify, qualify, and manage a pipeline of prospective providers and practices. Maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems and track all touchpoints to ensure accurate reporting and efficient pipeline progression
- Targeted Prospect Engagement: Execute outreach strategies to engage prospective providers, practices, and partners, aligning with the organization’s growth strategies. Manage early-stage prospect interactions and provide qualifying information to support higher-level discussions.
- Relationship Cultivation and Maintenance: Establish strong relationships with prospective providers, market partners, and internal stakeholders. Foster trust with potential clients through regular communication and responsiveness to inquiries
- Event Support and Planning Assistance: Assist in planning and attending market development events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent Avance Care. Collaborate with the Director and Marketing to coordinate event logistics, materials, and follow-up activities.
- Data-Driven Performance Tracking: Utilize CRM and analytics tools to track performance metrics and provide data on prospect engagement, pipeline health, and outreach effectiveness. Report these insights regularly to the Director to support strategic adjustments.
Candidates should have at minimum a bachelor’s degree required. Along with 3-5 years demonstrated business development experienice preferably in a healthcare setting OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Other Priorities:
- Support market awareness initiatives by participating in marketing campaigns, social media engagement, and other visibility-building activities as needed.
- Actively engage in competitive analysis by identifying and documenting competitor strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in the market.
- Collaborate with the Director to develop personal performance goals aligned with team and organizational objectives, tracking progress and adjusting as needed.
- Be a proactive, results-driven professional with a high level of initiative and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Capacity to work independently, adhere to deadlines, and manage a dynamic schedule.
