Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Coordinator
8 - 5; Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week-Work location: Hybrid; Palo Alto, CA-Compensation: $35 to $40 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities-Design and implement TDM strategies that reduce the demand for parking and single-occupancy vehicles.-Promote the use of alternative transportation options like public transit, carpooling, biking, walking, teleworking, and shared mobility services.-Collaborate with local businesses, government agencies, and transportation service providers to support regional TDM initiatives.-Work with company departments and leadership to incorporate TDM strategies into corporate sustainability plans.-Conduct surveys and analyze commuting patterns to assess transportation needs and opportunities for improvement.-Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of TDM programs through data collection, performance metrics, and regular reporting.-Assist in the development of policies and procedures that encourage the use of sustainable transportation modes.-Organize and lead events such as bike-to-work days, carpool matching programs, or public transit information fairs.
