Job Description

Key Responsibilities of a Project Manager - Healthcare Construction - Sacramento
  • Communication and Coordination: responsible for facilitating communication between team members, architects, designers, and engineers
  • Documentation and Reporting: manage project documentation which includes project plans, requirements, specifications, and RFIs
  • Risk Management: contributing to identifying and assessing project risk, and developing risk mitigation strategies
  • Bid Leveling: help evaluate bid opportunities to determine their suitability, feasibility, and alignment
  • Takeoffs; Cost Estimation: from time to time may be responsible to quantify and estimate the quantities of materials needed for the project
  • Pre-Con: collaborate in executing the pre-construction phase of a project with the team
  • Design Phase: working with architects and engineers to refine the conceptual design of the drawings

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Project Manager - Healthcare Construction - Sacramento
  • 5+ years with relevant experience in construction, preferably Healthcare/OSHPD.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as project management, business administration, engineering, and/or construction management
  • Experience in coordinating project activities , assisting the Director of Construction or Senior Project Manager
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and their tasks, milestones and deliverables
  • Proficiency in construction management software, such as Procore
