Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
The Medical Staff Coordinator has strong knowledge of the day to day operations of Medical Staff and the process for credentialing new applications and reapplications through MD Staff. As well as the OPPE and FPPE process and department and committee agendas, minutes and all follow-up.

Required Qualifications:
- Required:Proficient with a variety of computer programs, including MS Office.
- Typing up to 50 or more WPM.
- Preferred:CPMSM/CPCS certification & MD Staff Credentialing Software experience.
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
