Regulate all mechanical and electrical repairs for plant equipment.
- Determine schedules and assignments for work activities, determined by work priority, and skill of personnel.
- Provide leadership, technical guidance and training to employees in the facility to better increase work productivity.
- Monitor maintenance employees and assure they"re doing their job correctly and efficiently.
- Develop, approve, and monitor employee schedules within the Maintenance Department.
- Initiate clear communication within all levels of the organization.
- Evaluate employees" work levels.
- Teach employees any necessary tasks they may need to be trained in.
- Prioritize what needs to be done first and the order of tasks based on importance and urgency.
- Oversee projects throughout the plant involving new installation of machinery.
- Implement and improve maintenance policies and procedures.

- Identify, monitor, and report on department specific and plant wide metrics.
- Purchase/order all parts needed to be able to fulfill job duties.
- Periodically, attend any safety and manager meetings.
- Perform other duties as required.
