Overview:

We are seeking a Branch Manager to join our team. The Branch Manager is responsible for the administration and oversight of the branch’s day-to-day operations. These responsibilities include meeting operational goals, ensuring that the quality of services delivered meets company standards, completing assigned projects, promoting company objectives within the branch and larger community, fostering an engaged workforce, and ensuring compliance with applicable law.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead branch’s operations to deliver exceptional care to all patients.
  • Ensure that patients receive services based on needs and what matters most to the patient.
  • Proactively identify and execute opportunities for growth to expand services within the local community.
  • Proactively engage with community through networking, collaboration, and partnership with community-based organizations.
  • Meet operational goals, including financial, administration, and staffing objectives. Review and act upon operations reports and key performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure operational goals are being satisfied, including growth and patient care objectives.
  • Maintain office employee and caregiver staff personnel files.
  • Analyze and identify trends via Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet the weekly, quarterly, and annual goals of the agency.
  • Review assessment reports for all departments and implement opportunities for process improvements.
  • Review the authorized and unauthorized hours reports (total underutilized, overutilized, and total hours on hold).
  • Review daily patient/caregiver referrals.
  • Review new patients that have been staffed the prior week and ensure that scheduling discrepancies are resolved.
  • Review the progress with caregiver staff onboarding with the Human Resources Department.
  • Ensure compliance with caregiver annual requirements.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures regarding the rights and responsibilities of patients.
  • Maintain and update patient records a mandated by state regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain a comprehensive emergency management plan that is consistent with the national standards and consistent with the local and state plans.
  • Establish and implement an infection prevention and control program which shall be based upon Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other federal, state guidelines.
  • Ensuring that the assessments teams plan of care for patients are accurate and up to date.
  • Collaborating with Human Resources for hiring internal positions are accurate and up to date.
  • Collaborates with other service lines based on patient needs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable law and company policy, including ensuring compliance with all licensures, credentialing, certification, employee/patient records, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between staff, patients, with healthcare community, referral sources, and the home office to ensure information is shared appropriately among the team.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree REQUIRED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of home health care leadership/supervisory experience
  • Experience with Ohio Home Care Waiver, Ohio Medicaid, Medicare and accreditation programs preferred.
  • Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance and access to dependable transportation required.
  • Acts with a strong sense of urgency.

  • Passion to deliver exceptional, comprehensive care to patients in their homes.
