Position Summary:

The Patient Service Representative is a non-exempt medical office position responsible for front office processes in the physician practice

Required Qualifications:

  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
  • Education: High school diploma/GED required
  • Experience: Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a medical office setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
  • Certification: Prefer healthcare management/administration certification.
  • Completion medical office assistant program
