Staff Accountant - Medical Device Industry

The ideal candidate will manage a variety of accounting tasks, including AP/AR, reconciliations, and preparing monthly financial packages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure financial statements are accurate and adhere to US GAAP standards.
• Input and manage accounting data in the appropriate software systems.
• Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring organization and accuracy.
• Assist with audits by preparing required documentation and reports.
• Process accounts receivable invoices and accounts payable bills as necessary.
• Calculate distributor fees and manage journal entries.
• Oversee fixed asset and customer account records.
• Generate monthly financial reports and Excel-based reporting packages.
• Support department heads with ad-hoc financial reports.
• Identify cost-saving measures and revenue enhancement opportunities.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support the accounting department.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting.
• Strong grasp of US GAAP principles and financial reporting practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines.
