Commissioning Project Manager

A Commissioning Project Manager is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Conshohocken, PA area. The Commissioning Project Manager oversees the start-up and commissioning of life sciences facilities and equipment, ensuring projects meet all requirements.

responsibilities:

• Develop Project Start-Up and Commissioning Plans and execution strategies.
• Lead development and execution of commissioning plans for black utility and HVAC systems.
• Generate and execute commissioning documents in line with GDPs.
• Provide technical assistance and input for equipment start-up.
• Coordinate with OEM service technicians and construction management firms as needed.
• Ensure Commissioning project deliverables meet schedule, cost, scope, quality, and safety.
• Serve a diverse client base including biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, gene therapy, and cell therapy manufacturers.

Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Six Sigma Certification (ideally)..
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
• Knowledge of US FDA (21 CFR 210, 211, 810) and EU EMEA regulations.
• Familiarity with industry guidance (ISPE Baseline Guide 5, ISPE GAMP V, ASTM E2500, etc.).

Education and Experience:

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5-14 years of Start-Up and Commissioning experience in the life sciences industry.
• Experience with black utilities and HVAC start-up.
