Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist

We are in search of an Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be expected to manage customer accounts, process credit applications, and resolve any inquiries that arise. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity within the financial services industry.

• Manage and process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency
• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve them in a timely manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for managing accounting functions
• Perform Account Coding and Accrual Accounting tasks
• Handle Automated Payroll and Benefits Payroll processes using ADP - Financial Services
• Use Concur for managing Accounts Payable (AP) tasks
• Conduct Auditing and use Automated Clearing House (ACH) for transactions. • Proficiency in Account Coding is essential for this role
• Must have experience with Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Ability to use Concur is a must
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems is mandatory
• Candidate should have a solid understanding of Accounting Functions
• Previous experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Must be well-versed in Accrual Accounting
• Auditing skills are necessary for this position
• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) is a must
• Experience with Automated Payroll is required
• Familiarity with Benefits Payroll is a plus for this role
