Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are looking for a diligent Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Addison, Texas. This role primarily revolves around managing customer accounts in the industry. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for communicating with customers about their account status, ensuring compliance with payment plans, and maintaining accurate records of customer credit information.
This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:- Communicate with customers via phone and email to discuss their account and payment status
- Maintain records of customer credit information in a standardized format using SAP
- Prioritize daily workload effectively, focusing on key customer accounts
- Ensure compliance with customer payment plans and take appropriate action when customers exceed their credit limit or fall behind on payments
- Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Provide invoices and statements to customers
- Communicate account status and aging with representatives, management, and customers
- Support cash application processes by providing proper coding for alignment
- Resolve customer disputes and discrepancies affecting payments, including pricing, sales tax, and other purchase order discrepancies
- Provide updates on collection status and customer aging. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
- Experience with ADP - Financial Services
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Skilled in use of Epic Software
- Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
- Understanding of Accounting Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Ability to handle Billing Functions and Cash Activity
- Experience with Check Processing
- Proficiency in SAP software
- Experience in B2B collections
- Understanding of Collection Processes and Collections
- Knowledge of Commercial Collections processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
