Quality Assurance Manager

The QA Manager will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance systems and processes. This individual will oversee all aspects of food safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure our products meet or exceed both internal and external quality standards.

salary: $70,000 - $110,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Lead the QA team and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to company and industry standards for food safety and quality.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and systems in compliance with FDA, USDA, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, SQF, and other relevant food safety certifications.
  • Conduct regular internal audits, analyze quality data, and implement corrective actions to improve processes.
  • Oversee the testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and procurement teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage customer complaints and work with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and develop corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the company remains in compliance with all food safety regulations.
  • Provide leadership and training to the QA team to maintain a high-performance culture focused on quality and safety.
