As an Electrical Engineer in the Combat Mission Systems business, you will support the development, testing, fabrication, and fielding of highly complex military equipment. Your overall responsibilities will be to: research, plan, design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic and electrical systems and components.
Your day to day tasks will include but may not be limited to:- Utilizing advanced modeling and analysis tools to develop product specifications, models, simulations, technical data packages, and integration and verification procedures.
-Evaluating vendor capabilities, technologies, services and their ability to deliver required products or services-Working under general direction of a project engineering lead to perform electrical system design on a variety of military systems, ranging from combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions.
-Providing detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product application.-Traveling domestically as needed (approximately 1 week per month when issues arise)
Requirements for this pivotal role include: -US Citizenship is required for consideration on this defense program-Bachelor's degree in EE
- At least 2 years of hands on experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis
- Experience developing technical documentation
- such as drawings, reports, & technical analysis-Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems
- Experience in creating, reading, and comprehending schematics and interconnect drawings.
- Ability to create and manage interface control documents.
- Ability to perform circuit simulation (PSpice or LTspice)
-Experience with design of wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for military systems a plus.-Experience with Programming National Instruments test equipment using Labview and Test Stand
-Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, PSpice, LabVIEW, Test Stand, RS485, J-Tag or CANBus
-Working knowledge of OrCAD and Visio a plus-Good Communication skills
