Receptionist & Switchboard Operator

Responsibilities:

• Manage the multi-line phone system by answering and directing incoming calls to the appropriate departments or contacts.
• Provide a warm and detail-oriented welcome to all visitors, ensuring excellent customer service standards are met.
• Monitor and maintain accurate customer records.
• Handle email correspondence with detail and efficiency.
• Assist the customer service team with various administrative tasks as and when needed.
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Word for various tasks including data entry and communication.
• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Receptionist or Switchboard Operator in a Manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in answering a multi-line phone system, ensuring efficient communication within the organization.
• Strong data entry skills, with the ability to input and manage information accurately.
• Excellent email correspondence skills, able to communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, able to manage emails, schedules, and contacts efficiently.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Word, able to create and edit documents as required.
