About Our Client
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Construction Project Manager to join our team. The Civil Construction Project Manager will oversee the direction, completion, and financial outcome of various construction projects. This role involves managing relationships with clients and acting as the primary liaison between the company and our customer base.
As a Civil Construction Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall direction, completion, and financial performance of construction projects.
- Serve as the main point of contact between the company and clients, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction.
- Manage and coordinate all project activities, including the scheduling of work and resources, tracking progress, and adjusting plans as necessary.
- Develop and maintain detailed project budgets and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the project.
- Supervise subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely and efficient performance.
- Monitor project progress, making adjustments as needed to stay on track for success.
- Prepare regular reports on project status, risks, and issues for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Assist in the resolution of any issues or disputes that arise during the project lifecycle.

The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years' experience managing public and/or private roadway, utility, and site development projects.
- Strong working knowledge of civil construction processes including earthwork, grading, water, sewer, storm drainage, and paving.
- Experience in production tracking and managing detailed budgets and schedules.
- A construction management degree, civil engineering degree, or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
