A manufacturing company in Hauppauge, NY, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. This position involves performing routine maintenance and repair work both inside and outside the facility. Responsibilities- Perform interior and exterior painting tasks to enhance the aesthetics of our facilities.
- Repair and finish drywall, including spackling and sanding to ensure a smooth surface for painting.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of electrical lighting fixtures, ensuring all areas are well-lit and functional.
- Conduct outside work, including landscaping, gardening, and grounds maintenance to keep our outdoor spaces tidy and inviting.
- Sweep, clean, and maintain all areas of the facility, including common spaces, restrooms, and break rooms.
