Accounting Clerk

We are currently in the process of expanding our team in the manufacturing sector, based in Ceres, California, and are actively searching for an Accounting Clerk. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity where you will be expected to handle both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions while ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate processing of invoices for both AR and AP on a weekly basis.
• Verification, entry, and reconciliation of financial data to maintain comprehensive and precise records.
• Proactively reaching out to clients to resolve outstanding balances and ensure timely collections.
• Synchronization of purchase orders, invoices, and payment records for AP transactions.
• Active involvement in month-end closing tasks for AR and AP accounts.
• Responding efficiently to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding transactions.
• Upholding compliance with company policies and accounting best practices.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrated skills in accurate and efficient Data Entry
• Experience in Invoice Processing is required
