Looking to fill an immediate Part Time Administrative Assistant position in Fairfax, Virginia. The Administrative Assistant position role primarily involves providing administrative support in a fast-paced office setting, handling phone calls, emails, appointment scheduling, and data entry tasks.
Working onsite Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 10:00am-6:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate processing of customer credit applications
- Maintaining detailed customer credit records
- Resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary
- Handling phone calls and emails professionally and efficiently
- Scheduling appointments using MS Office Suite, particularly Outlook
- Performing data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy
- Collaborating with vendors and insurance companies
- Managing payment processing tasks
- Overseeing calendar management for office staff
- Carrying out various office tasks as assigned.
- Possession of a minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative assistant role or similar position.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with multiple phone lines, handling incoming calls, and managing phone messages.
- Demonstrable basic office skills, including filing, scheduling, and record keeping.
- Experience in providing administrative support in a fast-paced office environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent education level.
- Willingness to learn new software and office procedures as required.
