Associate Project Manager-Architecture
In a design area, the incumbent may serve as an architectural team leader on a project of great technical complexity or with a potential impact on operations or infrastructure or as a team leader on multiple projects of lesser complexity. Candidate will be managing the following activities:-Prepare/review sketches, drafts, final design layout, working drawings, demolition drawings, plans, sections, detail drawings, as-built drawings, presentation-quality drawings, etc., for the design, demolition, construction, alteration, or repairs on architectural projects'-Prepare/Review contract documents, specifications, and scopes of work.-Actively participate in meetings with engineers, stakeholders, outside agencies and other professionals to discuss, coordinate and resolve issues.-Conduct field surveys of new sites and existing structures to verify conditions and measurements.-Conduct research, investigations and studies relating to zoning, landmark buildings and structures, local laws, rules, codes, and other regulations.-Prepare/review estimates of material quantities for architectural work.-Review/comment consultant's design submissions, specifications, studies, and reports.
On Design Build projects, review consultant PRDC (Project Requirements and Design Criteria) packages.-Review and respond to bidder or contractor requests for information and prepare addenda or amplifying packages as required.-Conduct field visits and prepare field observation reports to review mock-ups and assess and document construction progress and compliance with contract documents, specifications, drawings and other rules, regulations, and codes.-Review manufacturer's catalogs, samples, shop drawings, calculations, and other construction submittals.
