Attorney Development Manager
Modern Family Law, a rapidly expanding national law firm specializing in Family Law, is seeking a compassionate, innovative, and respected Attorney Development Manager to support our attorneys and business professionals.
This is a remote role for attorneys residing in Georgia. Candidates must be licensed to practice and in good standing with the Georgia Bar. This position is set to start on June 1, 2025.
As the Attorney Development Manager, your job duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assess attorney training needs and identify gaps in current programs.
- Develop engaging live and on-demand training for attorneys across the firm.
- Review and enhance existing training programs as needed.
- Create training tracks for different levels of proficiency and expertise.
- Manage and accredit the Firm’s legal training programs, including state-specific substantive law training.
- Identify cost-effective external training resources as needed.
- Work with the Marketing Department and attorneys on client-facing training programs.
- Assist with associate integration, mentoring, and professional development.
- Serve as a resource for attorneys to identify and pursue professional growth opportunities.
- Maintain and expand MFL’s on-demand training library in the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS).
- Collaborate with leadership to develop Leadership and Management training tracks for executives and managers.
Position Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
- 3-5 years Family Law practice experience is required.
- Preferred: Experience designing, managing, and instructing training programs within a law firm, professional services organization, or academic setting.
- Technology skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe, LMS platforms, Slack, and Zoom.

- Self-starter with the ability to see the big picture while managing details.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple projects.
- Ability to respond quickly to shifting demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work evenings or weekends as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Ability to receive and apply constructive feedback effectively.

Compensation: $130,000-$150,000 annually. The range presented is a reliable estimate of the base salary that this individual is expected to receive.
