Customer Service Representative

You will also be responsible for creating sales orders, coordinating shipments, and assisting with various operational activities. This job offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

• Act as a primary contact for high-value customer accounts
• Foster and enhance relationships with all our existing customer partners
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries about RFQs and order updates
• Generate orders based on sales quotes, ensuring all data is complete and accurate
• Collaborate with the operations team and other departments
• Schedule inbound and outbound shipments in coordination with different vendors
• Assist the operations team in understanding and using all operating systems as needed
• Review vendor invoices and help prepare monthly customer invoices based on pre-determined rates
• Enhance weekly KPI reporting to ensure appropriate metrics and targets are being used
• Provide transportation quotes, work with freight brokers, and choose the appropriate truck based on dimensions for each customer-facing role. • Proficiency in answering inbound calls and providing top-notch customer service.
• Experience in a call center environment is necessary.
• Ability to perform data entry tasks quickly and accurately.
• Skilled in handling email correspondence.
• Comfortable with both inbound and outbound calls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Experience in order entry is required.
• Ability to schedule appointments effectively and efficiently.
• Experience in KPI reporting is a plus.
• Understanding of logistics and distribution is beneficial.
• Able to generate sales quotes and handle the RFQ process.
