We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for a Finance Accountant position located in York, Pennsylvania. This role is within a smaller office setting that manages multiple partnerships and trusts. As a Finance Accountant, you will be playing a key role in maintaining and recording equity records while ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process daily trades into the designated software system.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of both broker and bank statements.
• Scrutinize equity history and transactions to ensure their accuracy.
• Calculate Management Fees on a quarterly basis, derived from brokerage account values.
• Undertake special projects as and when required.
• Use Microsoft Excel, Quicken, and other tools to perform financial administration tasks.
• Conduct research on stock activity such as dividend payouts, stock splits, among others.
• Leverage skills in Banking & Brokerage and Bank Reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a related field
• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations is required
• Knowledge and experience in Banking & Brokerage is essential
• Familiarity and understanding of Equities is necessary
• Mastery of Microsoft Excel is a key requirement
• Experience in Finance administration is crucial
• Understanding of Stocks and its related aspects is needed
• Knowledge of Dividends is required
• Proficiency in using Quicken software is a plus
