We are seeking an Engineering Project Manager III to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The chosen candidate will be tasked with leading cross-functional teams in complex engineering assignments. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity in the engineering industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional engineering projects, possibly spanning traditional product lines.
- Independently plan and execute diverse and innovative approaches to problem-solving through adaptations and modifications of standard engineering principles.
- Directly supervise team members, fostering effective team dynamics and project outcomes.
- Manage all financial aspects of product development, including capital expenditures and cross-functional expenses.
- Identify and resolve complex problems, including the development of new design experiments without supervision.
- Utilize independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of various engineering techniques.
- Exhibit strong communication skills within a matrix management environment.
- Oversee project costs and manage project plans effectively.
- Use your proficiency in planning, design, supervision, expense reporting, and capital management to drive project success.
- Develop product lines utilizing your skills in engineering, communication, execution, principles, product development, modification, direct supervision, project cost management, and matrix management. • Proficiency in Planning, Design, and Supervising within an engineering context
- Experience with Expense Reporting and Capital Management
- Strong understanding of engineering Principles and Product Development
- Ability to execute modifications and manage project plans

- Ability to resolve complex issues and exercise independent judgment
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes and work within a matrix management structure
