Financial Analyst

One of our clients in the Walnut Creek area is looking for an entry level Financial Analyst for a contract to permanent placement opportunity.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in upkeep and delivery of regular financial forecasting.
2. Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support.
3. Work closely with the financial team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
4. Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual reports.
5. Streamline financial analysis processes and reports.
6. Collaborate with different teams to collect and analyze financial information.
7. Develop and maintain budgeting systems and procedures.
8. Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and communicate findings to senior management.
9. Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance.
10. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
12. Strong knowledge of excel, spreadsheets and other IT software.
13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
14. Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
15. Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
16. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
