Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Sales: Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions involving fluid control components, including valves, pumps, flow meters, and actuators.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our offerings.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their requirements and providing ongoing support.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Proposal Development: Prepare detailed technical proposals and quotations, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and project requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product management, and customer support teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions and customer satisfaction.
- Sales Strategy: Assist in developing sales strategies and marketing initiatives to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
- Training and Support: Provide technical training to clients and internal staff on product features, applications, and best practices.

The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales or technical support, preferably in the fluid control or industrial equipment industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, control systems, and related technologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address client needs effectively.
- Sales Experience: Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing client relationships.
- Travel: Willingness to travel 50 + % for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
